It wasn't just Pioli. It's a Belichik thing. Anybody connected to Bill was looking to that old Browns staff for coaching hires. Hell, Bill himself hired one of Ferentz' sons for a while. [Reply]

Anything can happen, especially when you have a defense that generates this many turnovers, but I'm not expecting miracles.
I will sacrifice my goat if Iowa can manage to beat Michigan.
Over/under on 7 Petras sacks. Just need 1 special team TD and 1 defensive TD which may sound crazy, but not for Iowa. It can be done but it will be a tall order. [Reply]

My dream is for Brian Ferentz to become Nebraska's head football coach once the Frost Advisory expires.
Iowa has a nice 7 game winning streak over Nebraska and 8 of the last 9. I bet Nebraska thought they were going to be someone when they came over to the Big 10. Texas and OU are going to be in for a surprise to. Big 12 football isn't a real football conference. [Reply]

ND will apparently wait for Luke Fickell, apparently the No 1 choice. Jack Swarbrick suggested he will not name an interim. Assts being told to stay on the road. Strong Catholic ties with Fickell. ND wants renewed bond with traditional Midwest Catholic high schools in recruiting. [Reply]
