Literally thought they were all gonna die, or at least Picard. Just brilliantly written.

Data doing a Falcon run on the Cube was utterly epic...and funny.

They also wrote the Borg well. Basically being a dead husk on it's last legs trying to survive, which explains why they had to enlist changelings and how the D could take them on without being obliterated.

Legacy is going to be awesome. Just hope they don't lean too far into the lesbian crap. :-)

Hopefully we get some Janeway, and Worf. I'd imagine the rest of them are done for good, although Frakes seems to relish any screen time.

Tuvok giving Seven a captaincy was also a tear jerker for me. And a great redemption for his character from earlier.

They got Walter Koenig to voice Chekov one final time, and it took the studio reigning in Matalas which prevented them bringing back Mulgrew and Garret Wang.

"Yes sir. After all, she's always taken good care of us."

I felt like the epilogue was the first time the fan service crossed too far into contrivance. I think a thing that gets lost in the conversation around fan service is that, if it's done well, fan service and continuity are actually a form of world building. And up until this point the show had gone a great job building on the past. But in the epilogue it felt like things happened more to soft pitch the spinoff than because they made sense.

Also I will admit a bias, as a spaceship nerd I didn't like the Titan becoming the Enterprise-G. The Titan was a fine secondary ship design, but it doesn't feel like an Enterprise to me. An Enterprise should be top-of-the-line. Especially after seeing the Enterprise-D in action again, the Titan just feels lesser.

It would have been cool if the Ent-D was temporarily recommissioned while the fleet was being repaired, and they were all going off on it in the end. Then they could have designed a new Enterprise-G later, if and when Star Trek: Legacy happens. Anyway.

And they jumped through a lot of hoops to try and justify Jack being on the bridge at the end too. I think I would have preferred if he was still a cadet, or even enlisted. I actually didn't mind the idea of the 'councilor to the captain' position though, it actually makes more sense that that would be its own separate job, than it does having the ship's psychiatrist hanging out on the bridge all the time (the idea being that Deanna was actually both).

Last thing, we got Seven and Tuvok, and couldn't get a DS9 cameo in there somewhere? C'mon man.
