PS: Numbers looking good this morning. Boys, Ive never been happy to be so wrong on the math trends. If the 525 deaths is the peak of this... wow! Social distancing, even if practiced by only 80% of the population is working to flatten the curve and as long as we can handle hot spots a little better than NY, its looking very positive out there.

Noon EST and only 1900 new cases and 29 deaths today.

I have a feeling the "clinical trials" are soon going to be widespread.

If this decline keeps going it would indeed mirror what happened to China.

Just on a quicker scale.

Because we are number fucking one.

Only 19 states/territories reporting.

Don't blame me, I'm a network engineer, not a App Manager. :-)

But not being able to see who's in a chat unless you go to audio, and not being able to pop-out conversations/video is stupid. And MS is telling us that those are requests they're looking into, so those aren't implementation issues.

Interesting story about how the amount of virus you get exposed to initially may determine whether you get mild or major illness and how social distancing could contribute to this leading to fewer deaths among those who get infected.

It’s a Daily Mail story so next to impossible to post on a phone but here’s the link:

New York and New Jersey have been the big numbers. Will be interesting to see where we stand when they come in.

Something that builds on that a little bit:

Just a blogger - nothing to take as gospel. But it's another way to look at the measures we're taking.

Yeah but no New York, New Jersey, California. Easily another 10K new cases and couple hundred new deaths right there. And that's if things stay similar to yesterday.

You say that like NYC hasn’t had homeless people jumping turnstiles and sleeping on trains for decades.

Would think that could cause major problems. How many healthcare workers and other essential people rely on subway to get to work?
