Update: Yes, the Bills were overhyped.

Will the next edition prove to be overhyped too? Stay tuned…

Because of the heavy snow, a travel ban has been placed in parts of the Buffalo area. As such, the Bills may not actually be able to travel to Motor City for their game against the Browns, putting the Week 11 tilt in jeopardy.
Guess they'll have to forfeit then. That's a shame.

I remember a story of NFL players being picked up by snowmobiles... Can't remember any details. But yeah still need an airport.

I don't know why you wouldn't have already flown out. Seems dumb.

Wow.
Yeah there is no way they could have played this game there.

Yeah it does kinda suck.

I guess Niagara Falls is cool but other than that it’s “blah”.

Last time this happened they were snowmobiling players to the airport.

Upstate NY is pretty nice. I went hiking on family trip up in the Adirondacks one summer when I was a kid and it had some gorgeous lakes and scenic areas but Buffalo just seems like no man’s land in between the rust belt and northeast.

Orchard Park is about to be pushing 6 feet of snow in 24 hours. Apparently the record for Buffalo itself was about 56 inches over 3 days.

For all of you wanting to know how much snow has fallen in the Buffalo area. Spoiler...

The greatest amount was 66 inches measured by a trained spotter in Orchard Park, NY as of 7pm ET today. https://t.co/BXAYMpvLkW

The last two player strikes were in the 80s, so you'll have to be fairly specific on the year when players would play no matter what.

Bills probably purposefully didn’t rush to fly out so they didn’t have to play the game.
