The #Ravens are trading LT Orlando Brown to the #Chiefs, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A new blindside protector for Patrick Mahomes.

Really? You understand that we got a 2nd rounder back, no?

He was ‘bad’ today. There’s no sugarcoating it.

That said, it was one game.

And also, in all fairness to Brown, I doubt he goes up against anyone else this year of Myles Garrett’s caliber.

At least he got brutalized by one of the best defensive players in the NFL and not some scrub.

That said, it's concerning for a guy who most of us had very high hopes for. He was beaten way more than I would have expected.
Pretty much this. I'm not sure I'm "concerned" yet, given that he was going against Garrett.

Except he does. That's my worry.

Shocking!!
Agreed. Brown held his own and I fully expect him to improve as the season progresses. I think he’s well on his way of cementing the LT position, long-term.

Brown needs more work. But I have faith he'll be better as the season progresses.

I'm far more worried about the defense than the OL. That being said, he had some bad snaps. New guy, new system, OBVIOUSLY not Lamar fucking Jackson. Again, far more worried about the D.

Probably more worrisome is they were in the same division. He's seen Garrett as much as anyone. It's not like it's some rookie getting fooled by tricky old man moves. He should have known what was coming.

I'm not going to exaggerate things but game 1 Brown played like ass.

Really bad.

It's game 1. It is what it is.

But it did happen...

Team scored on 6 of 8 possessions. 34 points in a game with quite a few long drives limiting possessions. Just saying....

They allowed 2 sacks. PM had time to throw 300+ and 3 tds. In their FIRST NFL game together as a unit ever. Against a good defense and possible top 5 DL. Let that sink in for a few hours. Any other team and the whole run-up to the game all week would have been how badly Cleveland's D would abuse them.

He should just hold more. After watching the browns along the offensive line today, apparently the NFL refs no longer view that as a penalty.

It's one game.

He played, honestly, like shit, but it's still one game...

And an average age of 24 among the starters, and 3 of those starters having zero NFL starts between them.

It's going to come together for this unit at some point this season and, assuming they stay healthy, it's going to be a thing of beauty for years to come.
