Nzoner's Game Room>Here comes the winds of change Bengals
RunKC 09:35 AM 01-30-2023
The price of being a good team. We saw how Allen regressed after Dabboll left. Losing either of these 2 would be a huge blow to that team.

This just in....

The Cardinals have requested to interview Bengals DC Lou Anarumo for their vacant HC job, per league source.@gmfb @nflnetwork

— Peter Schrager (@PSchrags) January 30, 2023

The #Cardinals also requested an interview with #Bengals OC Brian Callahan for their head coaching job, per source. Callahan also is a candidate for the #Colts job.

Crazy how much of a young man’s game it is when the oldest team is averaging less than 28 years old. Lol

You missed the "contributing" part of the equation. A bunch of 22 year old ST players means dick.

No, i commented on the "getting old" part.

Having a large number of starters on a rookie contract usually means you can't afford a larger number of higher paid vets.

It's a weak argument to stand on because it doesn't have any context and it's very fluid year to year.

The Bengals have 4 players on offense on rookie contracts and 2 on defense (would have been 3 before Logan Wilson's extension). They have 3 drafted vets on offense and 2 on defense. They have 4 free agents on offense and 6 on defense.

They purposefully built their defense in free agency and the offense through the draft. With the current and upcoming bigger contracts, they will need to lean on the draft pics more, which they've planned on and be more frugal in free agency.

That tweet doesn't say anything of any significance.

Bills and Bengals haven't reloaded or trusted their draft picks as much.

So if the Rams beat CIN the week... :-)

What if the Chiefs rest their starters the last week of the season? :-)

Some residents living near the shuttered Seafood City supermarket began noticing a pungent odor recently. They shared their concerns with University City officials. Building inspectors pinpointed the stench to the market on Olive Boulevard and discovered thousands of pounds of fish were left behind.

“This is disgusting and irresponsible,” former customer Lolita Paiwonsky said.

After the discovery, city officials immediately contacted the California property owner about the public health hazard. The city hired a company to begin the cleanup, which has been underway for several days.

The property owner is paying for the cost of the cleanup, according to a spokesperson for University City. Some nearby residents say they not only noticed a smell but have seen an influx of insects as well.
We had to set up traps,” University City resident Constanza Scharfenberg said.

She is pleased the cleanup work is underway and hopeful the smell will be gone for good. A city spokesperson said it’s unclear exactly how long it will take to finish the cleanup but estimates the effort will take a few weeks.

Seafood City has been closed since March. A visit by St. Louis County Health inspectors led to the closure. Officials say thousands of pounds of fish were left behind in freezers. There was no electricity to keep the freezers operating after the business closed.

It seems obvious that Burrow's calf injury is still a problem. Was it misdiagnosed as a low grade in camp, or did they just not want to shut him down for longer?

Andy Reid has NEVER lost on the Chiefs/Philly series. Undefeated against KC as Eagles coach, undefeated against Philly as Chiefs coach.

We ain’t losing to the Eagles. Andy owns that!

The Bengals defensive starters are almost all pushing 30. The average age of your entire 53-man roster might make you feel better, but it's meaningless.

It says the Chiefs have reloaded through the draft, which is what you must do when paying an elite QB. The winds of change are upon you.

If they rest Burrow, they probably go full-on soft reset.

Trade Tee Higgins. Tank the season. Keep Burrow out. Be in position to pick in the top 5 with their own pick. Grab Marvin Harrison II or Brock Bowers or an elite T prospect. Use the Higgins pick to pick a receiving weapon or tackle, whatever they don't take first.

It would be awfully hard to swallow for the owners after writing the checks for Orlando Brown and Joe Burrow, though.
