I loved Altered Carbon as a book. The future noir setting and story really clicked with me. I was pumped to get into Fallen Angels, but I never could for some reason. The third book feels a little closer to the first. The second is kinda standalone, too, so you can skip it tbh. [Reply]
About halfway through season 2 and I'm not loving it so far. It's such a tonal departure from season 1 that it just seems completely disconnected (yes, I've read the books; I know...).
But I don't think I really dug season 1 until the 2nd time I saw it, either. [Reply]

Season 1 was much better. The lore in season 2 was interesting, but the plotline was just too easy imo [Reply]
