If the Chiefs move across town, of course I'd support them. If they completely relocate, I'll probably watch games until PMII falls off and then fade away from the NFL completely. If they moved to somewhere like Tulsa, Omaha, Des Moines, or St. Louis I think they could keep me into it, but the odds of them landing in some smaller market within the region, or even St. Louis, are next to zero. Nobody is going anywhere. Y'all need to relax. All we said with the vote was that they have to do better. It's a fucking business negotiation. Chiefs aren't leaving Kansas City proper, let alone arrowhead and no city no matter how awful wants John Sherman the weakest of billionaires owning anything in their town. We're stuck with the royals until Sherman sells in two years, probably toTravis Kelce/Mahomes. [Reply]
I’ve been a fan since Dante Hall, Tony Richardson, and Tony G. I lived through the hell of Pioli, Cassel, and Belcher. I’ve soaked in every moment of Andy, Travis, and Pat.
Once this three are done I don’t see my interest ever touching these peaks again. The mountaintops this dynasty has provided honestly sullies the thought of any other experience as a sports fan.
Once Pat is done, I probably will be as well. Hopefully it never leaves Arrowhead. [Reply]

Voters just bought us years of these kinds of rumors. It's like a hydra - sure, you could try to cut off one head, but more would just grow back in its place. [Reply]

Yep, this is going to get more messy. Historically, every sport that has had issues getting stadium funding went down a very messy path after a taxpayers rejected a tax to fund the new stadium.
This one will be easier than all the rest that came before it. I don't see any way the Chiefs move anywhere but across the border to the race track area. Kansas will cough up the money. STM's will just drive out there and the stadium will still be filled. [Reply]
Only if they stay in the metro area. If they move our of the metro I will just be a casual fan of the NFL and probably have much more free time on the weekends. [Reply]

I still can't believe this is even happening. :-) [Reply]

It isn't. Teams aren't going anywhere. It was/is just really stupid to tie the teams together.
Both teams need to just step back and actually put effort into putting their best efforts into a real plan that is unique to each team.
To me this seemed a lot like the Royals tried to tie themselves to the Chiefs to get the vote. Hunt realized this so they put together the shitty upgrade plan they presented.
At least that is how it comes across to me. [Reply]

I'm worried it's the other way around, he drew up the shitty plan because he wants to leave. We just have to wait and see. [Reply]

What actions of the last few years have lead you to believe Hunt wants to move the team?
He absolutely needed to rid the team of the attachment to the Royals, so that angle would make perfect sense to me. The Royals ownership have been revealing a lot about themselves in the last few weeks that I assume Clark was already privy to. He probably didn't need very many meetings to figure out he wanted no part of dragging that boat anchor across the finish line. [Reply]
