Disclaimer: I’m not actively encouraging a trade up - I’m merely taking a temp check on which players wouldn’t freak you out if Veach decides to climb.
Rules:
This is only for players you would be content or happy with trading up for.
Do not put players you would be concerned with or worried about.
Do not put players who have 0% chance of being available.
Only list the player once, at the highest acceptable slot.
Assume standard/appropriate compensation for the move up when making your decision
I deliberately left 26-30 off the chart, since compensation would be minimal, and you'd likely trust Veach for a small jump up.
01-05: not mad but don't do it
06-10: not mad but don't do it
11-15: not mad but don't do it
16-20: not mad but don't do it
21-25: not mad but don't do it

Haha, fair enough.

For a move up from 31 to 4 for Pitts (the only spot open to trade in the top 5), the cost would start at like, 3 1sts + 2 2nds. I couldn’t do it for a TE, even if he is the freakiest freak. Same deal for Sewell in the next group, but that’s just due to the number of OT’s in the round we could move up for later. [Reply]

I thought this was a hypothetical game lol? [Reply]

None of them would freak me out, I'm just no longer invested in criticizing the team. I didn't die before they won a Super Bowl, so I'm pretty much satiated forever.
That being said, I think trading up in this draft would be a waste and I'm not for it. [Reply]
Predicting a big trade up is always unlikely, but man, I can't shake this feeling that they're gonna. It'll cost next year's 1st, which they'll devalue more than most teams given our situation and expectations, which should get us into the top 10-15 range. And then they take either Slater, if he falls... or a WR. I bet that'd freak everyone out but I think they'll place much more value on an elite weapon than Average Joe. And I think they'll have a REALLY high grade on those Bama guys, way higher than anyone they just sit and hope falls.
But, I'm probably way wrong. Heck maybe they even trade back and do the opposite. Just can't shake the feeling that either the OT or WR2 situation is primed to get fixed in one quick and sure draft pick. [Reply]
