And there's another. What are any of them thinking?
Another element is Loki was always holding the Timeline together from day 1, because time is irrevalent to him then the only thing that slipped was his consciousness not realizing he's been the true HWR all a long . He wanted timelines to have a choice and with that said he won't ever interfer which includes alerting his "past self" the truth because "God works in mysterious ways"

So did they just upjump Loki from God of Mischief to Living Tribunal level of importance? Because it sure seemed like he was the one breathing life into dying timelines amongst the multiverses. And also, is the multiverse still expanding at an infinite rate and he's tasked with holding it all together? I suppose that would really make him a God of Stories, but the width and breadth of it all puts him on a near omnipotent/omniscient level of existence, especially if he can traverse in and out of these realities as he sees fit.

Loki is now in the same vein as the Greek God/Titan Cronus

One of the articles you linked proves my point:

They already had the built-in excuse to recast Majors thanks to the multiverse, which was established long before this Loki season 2 finale.
If Loki doesn't make He Who Remains a nobody and Victor Timely never gets the TVA book, then how do they replace Majors? If He Who Remains and Timely are still important, then it makes it kind of hard to not have Majors because he played both characters. The finale makes that easy peasy.

Come on, dawg. Have you not been paying attention to any of this?

1. Hollywood recasts. We’ve already seen this in the MCU with Ed Norton and Terrence Howard being replaced.

2. The multiverse. There are an infinite number of universes. There’s a universe where Kang looks like you, one where he looks like me, one where he looks like Timothy Chalamet. They could have cast any random jamoke and said that was the Kang who is the threat to our universe.

It was always that easy.. but to answer your question, in universe, He Who Remains’ arc always had to end with the Loki series. It’s established that HWR was the variant who won the last multiversal war and set up a ton of failsafes to prevent any other variant of his from becoming Kang the Conqueror. We know that the next series of Avengers flicks centers around fighting Kang; therefore, we know that He Who Remains had to die.

And Victor Timely was always irrelevant. He was plucked from the 1800s. He was never going to develop the tech necessary to be a multiversal threat. Just plop him back in his timeline and he’s forgotten by time.

Some of the YouTube nerds are saying that the TVA will be left to handle the Kang variants and Victor Von Doom will replace him as the big bad for secret wars.

Since Loki's The Father Time of the MCU, he could use the butterfly effect paradox and erase every Kang that ever existed

That needs to happen, anyway. Provided the MCU can insert Doom with the proper instant gravitas, that is, which really shouldn't be hard. He Dr. fucking Doom.
