Patteeu Memorial Political Forum>GOPCP'ers - Who do you *WANT* to see run for POTUS in 2024?
Mephistopheles Janx 10:51 AM 11-29-2021
Pretty straightforward. If you wish to qualify who you would chose and why I would be interested in reading it. I'd also be curious as to whom you might think would be the ideal running mate.

You'd get the real Trump. No holds barred, nothing to worry about. No need to play nice if he's not running for re-election.

He'd go out with a bang so hard it'd make every useful idiot in the country cower in their basement.
That would be my hope, but there’s far too many radical leftists in positions of power in this country now that would neuter him every step of the way. Short of declaring Martial Law, we’d just see more of the same shit we saw in the last 6 months of his first term.

I don’t know, maybe I’ve just lost hope at this point.

and that the left has neither the desire nor the reason to stop doing those things as we move forward.
Oh god no, I’m well aware they aren’t even close to finished. I just have young kids and want to keep the peace as much as possible.

Deep down I know damn well where we’re headed.

It is obvious to anyone with any level of critical thinking ability.

He's just been the ultimate power as a decision maker in his org for a very long time.
The problem with this argument is that, due to the makeup of Congress, he never had a chance to build a consensus on anything that wasn't a cave to Democrat demands. That might have broken down differently had he gotten his win on Obamacare. But that piece of shit McCain torpedoed that, and showed the Dems that all they had to do was stay united, and the Republicans would just keep internally fighting to an extent that would prevent most disagreeable (to the Dems) legislation.

That is absolutely a problem. He needlessly red lines.

The problem with that claim is that it isn't true.

The problem with that claim is that it isn't true.
Trump had two years of full control of Congress, and all we ended up with from it was a half baked "tax reform".

The last bit is absolutely true. Trump drove moderates away with his antics AND encouraged GOP voters to skip the GA special election.

Let's go with MTG.

Lauren Boebert can be her VP.

I'm gonna vote in the Pub primary this time around. If MTG isn't running, I'll vote for Trump.

My other would be Rand Paul. He'd do what DeSantis would do except for starting any new wars. But DeSantis has executive experience. No way will I vote for any Bolshevik...'er I mean Democrat. I would not vote for Christie, Pompass or Haley either. Those three are out-of-the-question for me, should they win the primary.

I don't consider Cruz to be a natural born citizen and is therefore uneligible as is Kamala and Obama. Yes, I think Obama was born here but his father was not a citizen. I go by the definition set in our first Congress for natural born citizen because that Congress had many of the Founding generation in it to provide for what the original intent was for that term.
