Between the Royals' magic in '14/'15 and Mahomes being Mahomes, Mario's Miracle back in the day and then Kansas being down 15 at halftime a couple months ago.... there just aren't many times I have a total sinking feeling that a game is over and there's simply nothing they can do about it.
And then this happened and they're somehow able to move that needle even further in the direction of "it ain't fucking over yet!" [Reply]

It was mentioned in the pregame coverage by Rex Ryan, and I never heard any of the media mention it afterwards.
But, somehow, Allen came out of that game as the "better" QB?
Bullshit

It is a little weird.
Statistically, Allen had the 5 TDs, which is what I think people are keying on, and Mahomes also had the advantage of having the entire OT drive that Allen didn't.
IIRC, two of Allen's TDs and three of the Bills' overall TDs came on 4th down attempts. A 4th down play is cool and everything, but Mahomes was a lot more efficient on the night, plus he had more rushing yards than Allen.
I'd say they're pretty even all told, since Allen didn't get as much help on the ground as Mahomes did. [Reply]

There are videos out there of me being "twisted up" during that game. Seems that others find my pain humorous. Bastards!:-) [Reply]
I've watched a ton of football in my life, and I've never seen a game like this. The only ones I can think of that come close was a Monday Night game where Manning's Colts came back on the Bucs from 24 down with three minutes to go, and the Orange Bowl game between Boise State and Oklahoma. That's it off the top of my head. [Reply]

I didn't mean you literaly, I meant me, you and all Chiefs fans. During that two minutes I kept thinking about those 4 points. [Reply]

thus the kicker dilemma. He misses those easy extra points but nails 50 yard kicks? Frustrating for sure.
But, we are lucky to have him. One of the better kickers in the NFL. [Reply]
This game is so frustrating because individually, it’s one of the greatest games ever. But, the following game made it all for naught.
Still, the fact that you can now say to your girl that she can longer tell you that 13 seconds isn’t long enough puts the game in the epic category, the following game be damned. [Reply]
