I am taking Fed. He is my favorite non-american, maybe favorite in general, but I have no problem picking against him. I just think its his time right now to take Nadal. I would be down for putting money on him, but the lines have Fed favored by too much to get value. First time he has been favored over Nadal for a while. [Reply]
1-all. Federer's play has visibly dropped. Nadal's mental toughness and grinding has seemingly gotten to him once again. It has become a match very much like the one we've grown to expect between these two, and one in which I'd give Nadal an advantage. [Reply]
Federer had his chances to win the 4th set, but couldn't do it. Nadal wins in 4. He just has an incredible mental advantage over Federer that gets more obvious every time they play a big match. Confidence and mental toughness are powerful things in sport.
Djokovic and Murray tomorrow, then. If Novak wins that, I think he wins it all. If Murray does...I'd probably go with the experienced Nadal in the final. [Reply]
