K.C. CHIEFS' FRANK CLARK
ARRESTED
... Cops Say NFL Star Had Uzi In Lambo SUV

Law enforcement sources tell us Clark was pulled over for a routine traffic stop Sunday evening in Los Angeles ... when cops say they noticed an open duffle bag in his ride.

Our sources say officers saw the gun inside the bag ... and arrested the 28-year-old for felony illegal possession of a firearm.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar is still behind bars in the Los Angeles area, jail records show.

According to the records, Clark -- listed at 6'3", 255 pounds -- was arrested at 9:20 p.m. ... and was booked into jail hours later at 9:28 a.m. Monday.

We've reached out to Clark and the Chiefs for comment ... but so far, no word back yet.

Clark was a key piece in the Chiefs' runs to the Super Bowls the last two years ... after being traded from Seattle to Kansas City before the 2019 season, Clark logged 14 sacks in 26 starts and was great in postseason play too.

In fact, Clark was so good for the Chiefs since joining the team ... he was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his 2 seasons on the squad.

Of course, this is not Clark's first brush with legal trouble ... you'll recall, he was arrested in 2014 after being accused of domestic violence -- and was kicked off the Univ. of Michigan football team over it all.

Clark eventually struck a deal with prosecutors in that case, agreeing to plead guilty to a lesser charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Clark is currently in the middle of a 5-year, $104 MILLION contract with the Chiefs.

Story developing ...

There’s a lot of variables to consider.

First, was anyone in the car a convicted felon?

Second, was any crime, other than traffic charges, being committed?

Third, was it a federally regulated firearm?

Fourth, are his felony charges “state felony” charges for california?

Fifth, did he tell the cops he had a gun or was he trying to conceal it?

Just these few variables would change the outcome of the stop and any subsequent charges in several other states.

I think, traffic only charges with no felony convictions; in missouri he’d been let go with only the traffic charges at most and we never would’ve heard the news story.

IMHO, I just don't see Clark on the field this year for us! He will be a sacrificial lamb for California Law cracking down on gun control!

Let's not get into politics too much here.

But George Gascón is the best thing to happen to this town in a long time when it comes to crime and prison. The recall's most visible supporter is Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, one of the biggest pieces of shit in the city.

Federal Judge Benitez recently ruled that California's Assault Weapons ban is Unconstitutional, and while I believe there is a stay on that ruling, it's an argument that Frank Clark's lawyers may be able to use in court.

Without knowing what exactly this "Uzi" is, it's hard to say how this will go. If it's an actual full auto weapon (doubt it) and/or an actual SBR, that crime could be Federal. I dunno, not an attorney. Just saying.
100% chance its a pistol

So if you are asking this you dont know gun laws, which is OK.

But the easiest way to explain it, is yes, in almost all cases. it would depend if it had a stock or not, but if not, then yes.

That will likely get delayed until after the season, and by then he wouldn't have been a Chief anymore either way.

Are we to assume that this is some California penalty for possession of that type of firearm in that state, and are we also to assume this is something he can throw six figures at and have expunged off of his record?

Could be headed for commissioners exempt list since he was formally charged with a felony.
