I have to agree with most here. Season 4 is the high mark then it stopped being great. It started being bad when the Deb is in love with Dexter plot line started. And then we got last night. [Reply]

I guess the writers thought that Dexter forced himself to live with the consequences of his actions, that he hurt everyone he loved. But what a cop-out of an ending.
Like I said, it would have been a weak ending to a series that started out very well, but I wouldn't have been so vehemently disappointed if they'd have left the last 20 seconds of the finale off. What a bunch of bullshit. [Reply]
