I've been offered the following trade:

Mixon and Hopkins (sspd) for Mark Andrews.

This is a 1/2 point ppr league. We had 18 rounds in the draft with no kicker or defenses so the waiver wire is not great. I picked up Cole Kmet as my backup TE and I also have Isaiah Likely. We have to start 2 rb's , 3 wr's, and 1 flex. My current RBs are J. Taylor, AJ Dillon, and M. Carter. I have AJ Brown, D. Johnson, E. Moore, B. Aiyuk, S. Moore, M. Hardman, A, Pierce, Jahan Dotson, and Wan'Dale Robinson as WR's. If I accept the trade, I will have to drop one of my WRs because there is a limit to how many we can have and I am at the limit.

I need another RB but is it worth giving up Andrews since he is outperforming Mixon at the moment?

I wouldn't. I'd rather stay strong at TE than take on Mixon playing like garbage and another 3 weeks of Hopkins being suspended. That's me though

I think, iirc, RBs are generally worth more than TEs in ff. But Andrews is different than 90% of TEs. He's not Kelce or Kittle, but he's on the rung below them. Mixon, otoh, was the league leading TD scorer for RBs last season, I think. Dhop is suspended so I don't have anything to say about him.

Thanks for the input. I was leaning that same way but I put in a waiver claim for Greg Dulcich just in case I change my mind.

This is how I evaluate trades (the version shown is the .5PPR value chart for week 4). It says to 100% take Mixon and Hopkins for Andrews and don't look back - but your alternative TE options certainly cause a scare.

Severely skewed by his week 1 outing when he had 82 on the ground and 7 rec for 63 yards.

In the 3 weeks since he's averaging 47 on the ground with a high of 61 this week and 17 in the air at 3 rec per and a lone TD.

The trade also doesn't happen in a vacuum as he's altering the overall strength of his team. I'm not sure the combined effect is worth the trade. He might be worse at the flex staying as he is but he'd be getting significantly worse at TE.

TE is a black hole of a position this year. Keep your TE.

I went ahead and accepted the trade since I was thin at RB. Now it's a good thing for me because J. Taylor is out this week.
