To the ship?

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) - Chiefs wide receiver and Kansas State alum Byron Pringle is staying in Kansas City.

His agents, Katz Brothers Sports, tweeted Thursday afternoon he has re-signed with the team.

Pringle, who joined the Chiefs in 2018 as an undrafted free agent, enters his fourth year in KC this fall.

The 27-year-old hauled in 13 catches for 160 yards last season including one touchdown.

Little steep for someone with 330 career yards, but he knows the playbook and I guess he can block so not bad depth I suppose. I just hope come September he’s no higher than 4th on the depth chart at WR. I don’t buy Veach’s recent comments that he’s happy with the current receiver group as anything more than coach speak.

Wow, really wish you’d shared this insight with Bert. Could have saved the chiefs some cap space.

Not a chance, unless it's due to injury and in that case, the Chiefs are fucked.

I have no idea why anyone is excited about a nearly 28 year old wide receiver with 330 career receiving yards.

Chris Conley had 1,238 yards and 6 TD's as a Chief and most people in this forum thought he sucked.

Yeah but he missed a season from a pre-season injury so I think he would have been able to quite a bit more production but he had that set him back.

I think he needs to concentrate on being a stand out return man he has the skills and speed but at the same time Hardman needs to concentrate on being #2 WR and not be the guy fielding punts and kick returns although he is always a danger when he is back there (for both teams)

Every time Pringle gets the ball in his hands he impresses.

He just needs more opportunities.

He did the macarena on national TV after catching a touchdown once. Cut him tomorrow.
