Nzoner's Game Room>Neil Smith will bang the pre-game drum
siberian khatru 10:23 AM 01-21-2022
**** him and the Broncos he rode out on.

Former #Chiefs Defensive End Neil Smith will serve as the Drum Honoree this week for #Chiefs vs #Bills .

I think you are right about that. Hussey did our game against the Cowboys this year, at Baltimore last year, at Oakland in 2019, and playoff game vs Indy in 2018.

He did the Cowboys game. Lots of offensive holdings on both sides. No DPI.

Pretty good actually.

By the way, their predictions based on ELO heavily favor the Chiefs, 65/35%.

There are Chiefs fans that like Neil Smith? Whose idea was this? F that guy, I seriously hate him and partially blame him for the death of Derrick Thomas. This seriously makes me mad, that guy acting like he's a welcome hero at Arrowhead. I'm upset.

Me and Titty Meat will let his flight land no problem, but we'll be waiting for him near the Billy Butler statue over beyond the left-center bleachers.

I'll take this a step further.

The whole drum deck/bang the drum thing is fucking stupid, regardless of who they choose.

They must've reached out to Harvey Williams first, then settled for Neil

That's not a very good choice for drum-beater.

I'd rather have Todd Haley. He knows how to signal "You're number one!"

I say retire the drum altogether. Have one Chiefs legend (a real one) come out to midfield and just destroy a vacuum cleaner with furious anger.

There's some kinda silly shit in there, to be honest.

According to that system the Chiefs actually lost more 'credit' by losing the SB than they gained by beating the Bills to get there. Despite advancing all the way to the SB, they ended the playoffs exactly where they started. They'd have been no worse off had they not gone to the post-season at all.

Meanwhile they lost 65 points by losing a meaningless week 17 contest against the Chargers that same year, a loss that cost them 3 times as many points as they gained by beating the 49ers in the SB the year before.

That system blows goats.
