Nzoner's Game Room>Neil Smith will bang the pre-game drum
siberian khatru 10:23 AM 01-21-2022
**** him and the Broncos he rode out on.

Former #Chiefs Defensive End Neil Smith will serve as the Drum Honoree this week for #Chiefs vs #Bills .

Or at least left under better terms.

This could be a good weekend to break out the old Neil smith Jersey.

Back when I was a dumb homer fan I bought another guys jersey.

Jesus the 90s really sucked. I feel like a Reerun for even mentioning that I have a Neil smith jersey somewhere.

i literally have no idea. wondered about it myself. thought maybe it has something to do with neg rep since i've never even been in the casino.

i'm sure that's what all the problem gamblers say.

the best overall Chief in history, in my opinion, was #68 Will Shields. What would it take to get him to bang the drum? Crowdsourcing is a powerful vehicle. We can't have Neil Smith casting a shadow over this stadium at a time like this.

I've got $100 on hiring a pilot to fly a banner that says something like "We hate you, Neil". If I got 100 on it, together we could make it happen before kickoff......

It can't be neg rep that caused it, cause you have that little green bar under your name. I incur plenty of neg reps myself, as you can tell by my Chiefs colored little bar. Anyway, you seem cool Cureeee, and I would call you by your proper name if I had a fancy enough keyboard to do that little swirly thing on the e you do.

One year, I spent at least 3-4 hours after DT’s radio show talking with him and Neal Smith. They were great dudes and very fan friendly. But now……
**** that guy. He went out of his way to rub it in our faces after he left.

Did he, tho? He is not the sharpest bulb... not the brightest knife... wouldn't want him performing rocket surgery, if you know what I mean?

Actual quotes:

"Actually this guy [Troy Brown] had a perceptional year today. ... I think he went 10 for 10 or 12 for 12. ... His completion percentage was great."
-- Smith, on a Patriots wide receiver.

"This guy is just tremendously. He's got a lot of more football left this season."
-- Smith, on Priest Holmes.

"I'll tell you, you cannot have Masnowski run with Shannon Sharpe. You just can't do that. That's like an offensive lineman running with a tight end. We just have to do a better job of getting those safeties to [Sharpe] and not leaving Maslowsli to run with Shannon Sharpe for 80 yards."
-- Smith, on his favorite Polish American.

"Well, what it did, is the Chiefs actually brought eight in the box. So they actually have more than they need. As you see, McNowski right here takes the inside charge and beats his guy to the snap."
-- Smith, on that guy, who is now Irish.

"Only thing he do is he go along the line of scrimmage and no one untouched him."
-- Smith, on the Broncos' Keith Burns blocking a punt.

There are many, MANY more :-)

If Neil Smith didn't abandon the team, the Chiefs make the playoffs that year, and Derrick Thomas wears a seatbelt, and he would be alive today. I'm not calling Neil Smith a murderer, but manslaughter seems appropriate.

*IF* we lose this is why. I’ve got a Neil Smith autographed football. I put it up and away in storage at my dads in 2012, bam, we land Andy Reid.

Ouch.

I bet he's no Neil Peart on that drum Sunday either.
