Nzoner's Game Room>Chiefs Trade for OT Orlando Brown
Dante84 01:00 PM 04-23-2021
developing.

The #Ravens are trading LT Orlando Brown to the #Chiefs, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A new blindside protector for Patrick Mahomes.

Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.

Full details: #Chiefs get:
Orland Brown, 2021 2nd and a 2022 6th rounder
Ravens get: 2021 1st, 3rd, 4th and 20221 5th

Brown allowed no sacks or quarterback hits in 700 snaps at left tackle last season.

Chiefs are getting a straight up beast. Great teammate. The kinda guy you look forward to going to battle with https://t.co/GeMBF2LPU5

Hey, can we get more threads about how this offseason is a "disaster" for our o-line?

I kid. But seriously. I don't know what more Veach has to do to earn our trust at this point, and I say that as a convert.
Ravens twitter not happy either...

Trading him for what they got seems like a loss to me. You trade a premier young left tackle to a team you can't beat and only get a first round pick that a few spots later than your own and on top of you replace him with a washed up OL. As a Ravens.... this is a huge L imo...

Even though his QB ran around like a chicken with his head cut off.. That’s really good...

Means a lot coming from Campbell.

That video of him and Baldy was impressive. Can tell he loves the game and understands his opponents. It’s not just a means to money for him.

They still have six picks in the draft so I wouldn't rule out drafting a guard or a center in the 4th and/or 5th rounds.

The 6th has been money for the Chiefs under Reid in terms of guards.

I'd take another 21 or 22 year old Fulton or LDT in a heartbeat.

:-)

Ravens fans are less than impressed with this deal and how they made us ALOT better today then what we were yesterday....

I did a PFF mock and landed Jamin Davis at 58 and Creed Humphrey at 63

Not a bad off season!

Landon Dickerson and Creed Humphrey could be there when we pick in the 2nd right?

I’d rather not take a center in the 2nd round.
