The Bills didn’t really generate a ton of pressure with their 4-man rush though. That’s not why the offense struggled. It was mainly execution. Turnovers, dropped passes, and not taking the easy 7 yard gain when it’s there.

Re-watching the Bills game it is crazy how wide open the middle of the field was and the Chiefs barely exploited it with any type of consistent intermediate passing game.

The offensive coaches barely make any adjustments anymore. Dating back to the Super Bowl. I don't know if Andy is just phoning it in during games or if he's that stubborn, but we simply have been refusing to respond to the opportunities that the defense is giving us.

Fluke turnovers or turnovers caused by the scheme of the opposing teams?

15 play drive = turnover, 6 play drive = touchdown.

Consistently taking double the number of plays to score means more mistakes.
Chiefs are averaging 30 PPG. More than the last 2 years even WITH all the turnovers so you guys are wrong. You guys have no clue what you are talking about

Chiefs are still first in offensive DVOA through five games. Teams haven’t figured out Mahomes or this offense. They’re choosing death by a thousand cuts, but our guys needed to execute better against the Bills. Mahomes was off, our receivers were off, and our running game was shut down. Sometimes it’s just a matter of playing better.

11 turnovers...most of them complete flukes

Once you reach 11, its not flukes. Its just bad football.

Marcus Kemp even sniffing snaps in an offensive series is bad enough, but being that wide open and NFL BLITZ tipping an easy touchdown up for a pick is atrocious.

Late in a game down one, not having both hands on the football so you not only lose 2 yards but you fumble as well.

Pass hits Hill perfectly in the hands and instead of your normall hill drop where he allows the football to smack him in the facemask, he tips it for a pick 6. Just catch the ball. Its lapse of concentration, thinking hero ball before even making the catch.

Running a kickoff 6 yards deep into the end zone out into the teeth of the coverage, again, hero ball, and a fumble. Its just stupid decisions and worse execution.

The turnovers have been terrible, but they arent flukes.

They’re not flukes, but they’re very uncharacteristic of this team. I have faith they’ll get it cleaned up and make a strong run still. As I’ve said in other threads, regardless of what happened in the regular season, Chiefs make the playoffs, and nobody is gonna want to face them, home or away. We still have the best quarterback in the league, and who has more playoff experience than KC? Looking forward to opposing fans tears when Chiefs rip their hearts out in the playoffs. The first lead we take on Chargers/Ravens/Bills and you will immediately see their fans get nervous. We’ve got this, just a slower start than we’re used to.

The stat circulating today is that Mahomes has 13 interceptions in his last 14 games. That’s not horrible in and of itself but it’s more than you’d like to see. Hopefully the ball starts bouncing the other way soon.

If only it was just INT’s. The fumbles have been very damaging to the team this year.

Yep Fox put that out and of course it's already led to a bunch of people saying he's no longer QB1.
