Nzoner's Game Room>Orlando Brown Projected Contract 6 year $145 mil
dlphg9 08:17 PM 03-28-2022
So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.

That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL

How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?

I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave.

Quite honestly most of it is him. And thats ok, he plays well that way. He actually starts to question himself and struggle more with reads when he attempts to step up into the pocket. Its unorthodox. The guy has below avg pocket presence and is the best QB in the league. Great arm, great awareness. He just does it differently. He doesn't need a great LT. Now, Joe Burrow. Joe Burrow reallllly needs a great LT. But not Patrick Lavon Mahomes.

mahomes just needs to start throwing left handed again which would force OBJ to switch to RT, therefore needing to pay him less

Posting this here rather than bumping some 20 year old thread. Willie Roaf was so ridiculous.

Work ethic matters but suddenly he cares about his nutrition and his physical shape because he wants to be paid. His footwork is average, and doesn't mirror the opposition rather he washes them out being a waist bender and all. Patrick has to alter his playing style because how OBJ blocks.

Watch the games vs Cincinnati then get with us.

You clearly do not remember 2018-mid 2020 if you think Mahomes has below avg pocket presence.

You typically don’t hear about dudes signing extensions from their tag offers 2+ weeks from the deadline.

These things are always last minute.

Check back after the 4th.

I was so sad when he announced his retirement. Truly a GOAT at his position.
