Nzoner's Game Room>****2018-2019 Official NBA Regular season thread****

Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.

First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

Agreed.

Westbrook, Adams, Schroder, and Gallinari are making $100 million this year. That is insane.
I don't know how presti keeps his job. I mean, it was a good deal for George, but that's about it.

That's a bad take, but it's not even bottom 5 for this thread.

Clippers have neither the top player in the world or a second that is top 5.

This is accurate. One is the #2 and the other is well outside the top 5.

Leonard is without a doubt the best.2 way player in the world. PG.....debatable on being top 5.

Korver, JR, Cousins, Mcgee.

That's a solid cast LeBron never had. Oh also Anthony Davis is a generational player.

Kawhi is top 5 in the league but George IMO is overrated

George just went 28, 8.2, 4.1, 2.2.

The homerism is hilarious. The Lakers are banking on a 35 year old, another star unable to make the playoffs and a bunch of scrubs nobody wanted. Can't wait to watch this mess :-)

yeah, he's just a regular 35 year old basketball player!

He’s not, but he is still a 35 year old who plays hard and has spent almost half his life in the NBA. He is also a 35 year old who has played the equivalent of another season at least based off of all his playoff games. Is he one of the best to ever play? Easily, but the wear and tear is eventually going to catch up to him.

If that’s not a bottom 5 statement then that says a lot about the statements that did make it.

Eventually, but no one knows when! so until that happens. he's just not a random 35 year old.
