The saying "You can't please everyone" fits here. If you want to make something offend you, you can. If you take comments at face value, they say what they say.
Does his play warrant a contract extension, YES. Does he warrant top safety pay, not really. But, he is worth what we can pay him. We are strapped for cap cash and I hope he stays, however, you can't pay everyone what they are worth and stay under the cap. We have several players that will be due a larger contract that need to get paid as well. [Reply]

True. We don't know for sure if it was a shot at Mahomes or not.
Same time I think people here are very naïve if you think every player on the Chiefs, or any NFL team for that matter, gets along. These guys are human just like us. I'm sure they don't like all of their co-workers just like we all probably don't. [Reply]
This is always who this guy was. Ask any Cardinals fan how he was like in the last year. Cryptic tweets, and angry sideline behavior that is fine when winning, and absolutely not fine when not. The thing Cards fans said was that if he feels slighted, in any conceivable way (from the FO, coaches, teammates, fans, etc) then everyone will feel it.
I’m regards to this subject, I don’t think there’s any reason to suspect beef between he and Patrick. But with how he tweets (cryptically) there’s usually room to wonder where he's at with things.
