Here's some positive news from JoCo ...

Largest age group for positive cases - 20-29
Deaths in age group 20-29 - 1

On school related note

The 0-69 age group makes up 91% of all positive cases but only 8% of total deaths with a total of 9 deaths.

Death count of kids ranging from elementary to high school is 0

Pete...Basically if you aren't towards the end of your rope already, you have a 99.99 percent chance of this never effecting you. Agree?

FWIW, the posts last night is a perfect example of what was being discussed in the Sturgis thread.... two of those 'reported' posts don't even remotely look political to me, and another couple are far closer to an eye roll or a warning at most.

It would be exhausting and pretty dumb and the opposite of what this boar has been about for 20 years to moderate something like ..."drop your crusade against the media then. We all know where it comes from."

I would but I like to put the numbers to it because it makes people actually have to see it for what it is.

I should clarify, you have a 99% chance of not dying. Now, will you have some residual damage? Some will as we have seen. But generally I agree with your take that if you are not elderly and are in relatively good health your survival chances are very, very good.

I've been aware as well. It's a vicious disease for loved ones that are already in rough shape. For most of us...wouldn't even know you had it

There definitely seems to be little middle ground. I know there are cases of people getting really sick but not dying and some even having lasting effects. But it seems that most either never get sick or have very mild symptoms and then there are those that get so sick they come close to dying or die.

Well I can only speak to my locality and it still stands that there most likely will be a school child die from the flu before they die from Covid this year. And the sad part is no one will bat an eye at it because it isn't Covid.

Is this nation wide? I saw on the MO DHSS website that we're at 11.4% still. :-)

You can do that for many things people should still take seriously.
