Noticed a few questions on Becton here and I'm a lot where JP is. I really like his play when he's out there. I think he's played quite well in the matchups I've watched this year of the Jets. It's all about health for him and that's why I think he ends up getting a medium-level deal this first time into FA. I think he could be a potential steal if the injury woes are behind him. That said, he could just as easily be a colossal kick to the junk if they aren't. He's the type I'd roll the dice on if he makes it through this season without a knick. [Reply]
Also on Jordan Elliott... He's not a world-beater and I fully get that but I think he makes sense to add to a rotation. He's at his best when he's in a solid rotation and in a 1-gap scheme. He's much better than Wharton, that's for certain. I'm not really looking at him as a starting NT or anything like that, but he's got good rotational value at either spot. If the price is right, which I don't think is much more than the vet minimum with a modest bonus, then I think he's the type Veach will look for. And who knows, the Saints gave bowling-ball Saunders a 3/12 contract so Elliott might command near as much. We'll have to see how that shakes out. [Reply]

To be honest, at that price it kinda makes sense. I think my targets would be Billings and maybe Wormley if he looked OK after injury. But to be fair they're probably just a little too pricey. My Maurice Hurst fantasy is probably just that. He's rotational but he's playing himself into a decent contract if he keeps this form up and stays healthy.
Also I think your Becton approach is right. If he makes it out of the season healthy, I'm feeling better about that deal. [Reply]
We are on the same page Crow. Ideally I'd like to get a functional WR that can play the outside that Mahomes can trust. You listed Mooney, but I like Calvin Ridley. Also think the kid from Indy could be a nice FA get.
Then I'd take a WR rd 1 like you did and then nab a corner like the Bengals have done in back-to-back years in Britt/Turner to replace Sneed.
Btw I really like Franklin. Love Odunze but that's probably a pipe dream [Reply]
Becton injured again it looks like. I'd love to fix LT n FA so we can focus on a WR in a good class...but I think we may need to fix both positions in the draft. [Reply]

Just looks like a high ankle in all likelihood. [Reply]

Hmm. Maybe fine, I dunno though the guy just is constantly dinged. Not saying these things don't work themselves out but I don't know if I like the multi-year risk [Reply]
