They’re a mix of discussing motivations for characters in this movie and things that happen in the future of the story (both the upcoming part 2 and the following books).

Why, because I dont have shit taste in art?
The only thing that was visually great was the black healing oil...and the angular architecture of the CGI city layout.
Your hero "Duncan" was awful....that actor sucked. That was soap opera level...
Go ahead...be an emo internet fanboy...wont change that is was an average movie.
He didn't agree with me...ban him!!!
From an artistic Sci-fi standpoint Bladerunner 2049 made it look childish...
Sci-fi movies hinge on stylistic decisions...from the director/DP and art design. Casting/acting plays a critical role...these characters were like cardboard. It felt like actors in costumes reading lines..
If you loved it...more power to you...I wont be requesting that you be banned for enjoying it. [Reply]
Enjoyed it....irritated that I have to wait for the second part....which they could have been working on releasing the movie a year later than it should have. [Reply]
Had this movie been released in theaters only it would have made at least $100-150 million more.
I have to think this is by design, to drum of interest and then Dune 2 to not take the same path (only in theaters and not available on HBO Max) --- or maybe I'm stupid and it's some contractual thing but they could have made so much more money. [Reply]
