In a departure from expectations this afternoon, Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed was on the field for some stretching and conditioning that would put him in the next stage of the concussion protocol, a very good sign for him.
Andy Reid is optimistic JuJu Smith-Schuster, who sustained a left knee injury Sunday, will be able to participate in the team's practices next week in Arizona.
"He's in the good place," Reid said. "The main thing is letting that thing calm down. We'll just see where it goes."
Reid was particularly optimistic that among the injured players Toney and JuJu would be able to play in the Super Bowl. On JuJu, Reid said, "He's in a good place."

Chiefs LB Willie Gay is optimistic about playing in the Super Bowl despite hurting his shoulder Sunday vs. Cincinnati, per source. Early tests were encouraging.
.@adamteicher to @J810Anderson on how the #Chiefs feel about the chances of their injured players returning for the Super Bowl: "The Chiefs feel like everybody's got a chance, all those guys." Adds that it's doubtful that all of them would make it, but all should have a shot.
Juju has been dealing with a knee problem the last two years. They restructured him the way they did for a reason. They will drain it and he will probably be good. [Reply]

Why would you not be worried about Sneed? He's probably the main one I'm concerned with.

Everyone said he seemed fine after the game but has to go through concussion protocol and has 2 weeks. Not worried about him missing the SB.
JJSS (knee), Toney (ankle), Hardman(pelvis), Gay(shoulder?), and Sneed are the known injuries [Reply]

Might want to throw Pat, Kelce, and Trey Smith in there as well. Cook got hurt fairly early as well but mostly played through it. [Reply]

I would be worried if it was one week but doesn't virtually everybody clear concussion protocol after 14 days? [Reply]

Not sure of the numbers but no I don't believe it's at all a given. Not sure if anything has been said about the severity for Sneed, but he looked pretty shaken up on the field from what I could see. [Reply]

Yeah it was a pretty bad one. Everyone knew he was out and concussed. Tough to see him squirming around on the field there. [Reply]
After watching their all-world QB totally gut it out and carry the team to victory I can't imagine anyone would be willing to miss this game unless they can't even walk. Rub some dirt on it boys! [Reply]
