That was a major clutch play by Butker to win the game and send us to the Super Bowl. He's back and healthy, and that bodes well for the next game.

Butker today. Turns out he's still not 100%. And that he made several changes to his kicking mechanics to improve his accuracy over the offseason starting a week after the loss in the AFCCG last year. The injury forced him to revamp his mechanics again, which is a big part of why the inaccuracy issues when he came back. Also he explains why his kickoffs sometimes aren't deep enough to force a touchback. Bottom line, his accuracy is back, but his distance kicking might still be compromised. He starts at 28:28:

My man hit two clutch FIFTY yarders against Jacksonville like they were chip shots (and that’s not even looking at the game winner from last week).

In the 90’s that would have gotten him all time playoff royalty. The fact he’s doing it on less than 100% is wild.

Butker has really bounced back glad to see it. Doing it at the right time too just like Frank Clark.
