Patteeu Memorial Political Forum>GOPCP'ers - Who do you *WANT* to see run for POTUS in 2024?
Mephistopheles Janx 10:51 AM 11-29-2021
Pretty straightforward. If you wish to qualify who you would chose and why I would be interested in reading it. I'd also be curious as to whom you might think would be the ideal running mate.

It won't matter unless they fix the electoral system. Trump demolished Biden, but they have control of enough corruption to turn a landslide victory into a loss. Arguing over what a Trump win would mean is rather meaningless because there's no telling whether current measures to limit corruption are enough to stop them from cheating again.

Why would anyone who wants a republican president want Trump to run? He can’t win.

DeSantis would beat Dementia Joe worse than Reagan over Mondale.

You have a better idea to keep the raving lunatics from burning down our cities? Because if he got elected again I can assure you the shit that went down in Summer of 2020 would look like child’s play compared to what they would do in that scenario.

We’ve already empowered these maniacal radical groups far too much, there’s no looking back now. They’re like rabid dogs at this point and need to kept at bay. Unless Trump would muster up the balls to actually take them out, which we both know would never happen. It would just be 4 years of curfews, destruction and chaos.

You might as well be asking for Jeb Bush.

Actually Trump serving a second term, with no threat of re-election, would be very good for this country.

You'd get the real Trump. No holds barred, nothing to worry about. No need to play nice if he's not running for re-election.

He'd go out with a bang so hard it'd make every useful idiot in the country cower in their basement.

I actually think now, Trump losing is the best thing that could have happened to this country.

The libs are showing how terrible they are at running the country. But they are not able to enact truly drastic measures we can't come back from, thanks to the moderates in the Senate.

The libs have exposed themselves, and the country sees it. So the Pubes will win mid-terms, and Trump comes back (you remember how strong his economy was) to a red House and Senate, and now Trump Unchained, with nothing to lose, really starts to wipe the floor with the commies.

This country isn't dumb enough to vote for 82-year old Joe Biden. But they are smart enough to let Trump finish what he started. And thanks to Biden and the far left moonbats, it will be a huge red wave that keeps roaring long after he leaves office.

Let me know when you figure out that Trump was the excuse, but not the cause, for:

and that the left has neither the desire nor the reason to stop doing those things as we move forward.

Trump is an incompetent nutcase, but that's a list of cucks that he would humiliate during a campaign. All of them.

While I pretty much agree with what you write here about the extreme obstruction Trump faced, and I largely agreed with much of Trump's economic agenda, Trump's biggest problem is that he isn't, and hasn't ever been, a consensus builder. He isn't an effective leader unless he is dictating the agenda. And no, I'm not calling Trump a wanna be dictator. He's just been the ultimate power as a decision maker in his org for a very long time.

ETA: Trump also seems incapable of disagreeing agreeably. His first, last, and only move when people disagree with him is his own scorched earth policy.

See the two Georgia Senate seats he gifted the Democrats with his scorched earth tactics after the election.
