As suspected would happen. Roberts gets to appear reasonable and not political—his main concerns instead of ruling on the law. Surprised Barett isn't mentioned but I am just going by your post.
Did they at least allow religious and medical exemptions? Don't have time to read it. [Reply]

Not to mention how illogical it was. Unvaccinated people must test and prove they are healthy and be masked at all times. Vaccinated people can show up with covid and give it to everyone as they would not be tested or have to mask. [Reply]
Of course Kavanaugh and Roberts received boosters and were masked, even triple masked per one report I got, so there's that. Gorsuch, Alito and Thomas were not masked. [Reply]
The mandate “is a law that was promulgated and enacted unlawfully by an executive branch state agency, and therefore void and unenforceable," the judge said; Gov. Hochul said she intends to fight the ruling

After reporting that the U.S. Supreme Court’s approval rating has dropped to one of its lowest points in recent years, a poll has found that one justice, in particular, has a strong approval rating—Roberts.
I don't necessarily trust Gallup entirely anymore, but I do on this one regarding Roberts. The rest of the numbers here are way out of sync with other polls and in particular those done by Richard Baris. For instance Biden's approval is much lower and has been much lower for months even than numbers in other polls. [Reply]
