I remember being pretty stoked about Reid coming in, and shaking my head in wonderment about how Philadelphia could just let him go.
He just had too much on his plate, trying to do personnel, head coach, and call plays on offense.
Still not sold on his 90/10 Pass to Run Ratio calling style, but hopefully this offense can come together and gain some momentum because weve got some big games coming up.
Dude just gets some awesome defensive guys though. Philly had a pretty nasty defense there for several years under Jim Johnson, and now our guys under Bob Sutton just strangling the life out of opposing offenses.
I thought Andy Reid would be good for us, but in no way was I envisioning a 7-0 start. I was figuring more along the line of the first year installation struggles, second year mediocrity, and the foundation built the first couple of seasons is built on with success in year three.
The way he has them going now, we're back to being that "we're just a couple key players away from epic" team.
This couldn't have worked out better for the Chiefs, or for Andy Reid. Its been really good for both parties. I remember seeing an article on a conversation Andy had with Dick Vermiel and DV told him KC was where he belonged, Andy asked if he could win here, and DV told him that he could win anywhere, but KC was where he belonged.

My favorite thing about the Reid hire was all the Philly fans telling me that Reid sucks because he could only get you to the conference championship game.
O RLY??
How does 3-4 feel?

Someone will hire him and he will turn their team around.
