It’s going to be a snoozer early. Regardless of whether the DEN defense is really as good as advertised; their offense is historically bad. Even if the Chiefs offense struggles a little bit, it’s still going to be at least a two score margin by halftime, which is insurmountable for DEN.
Andy won’t waste plays running up the score, and he may well pull the 1s shortly after the half, so I see something like 27-9, KC.
Hopefully for entertainment the defense will sack/turnover Russ a bunch of times. It’ll be completely unnecessary and gratuitous, but it’ll be fun to watch. [Reply]

If we don't crush and dominate this weak team and win by at least 14 points, it's a fail.
Well, you should probably prepare yourself now.
It's highly unlikely we'll "blow them out", because at the point where we have the game won, we will go into a shell and run the clock, showing nothing.
There's not reason at all to give anyone anything at all on tape if we don't have to.
Since Spags became KC DC, his defenses have never allowed DEN to score more than 24 pts (once) and the average DEN score vs. Spags is about 11. [Reply]

It'll be pretty vanilla, offensively. As mentioned earlier, there's no reason to pull out our cool plays and let them be on tape. What I'd like to see (again) is to run the score up in the 1st 2 1/2 quarters and see some of our bench players get some playing time. You never know when you might need them and we have some decisions to make during the off season. [Reply]
