I was surprised to learn that before losing to Nebraska, Iowa was going to be playing in the B1G Championship game....... the same Iowa that beat South Dakota State 7-3 and lost to Iowa State 10-7 and beat Illinois 9-6, and lost to Ohio State by 44 and beat the Gophers 13-10.

You need a HC who can provide a tangible strategic/schematic advantage to win in today’s game.
I dunno, Rhule recruited well at both Temple and Baylor and did turn those programs up. The issue I have is he never sustained it beyond a few years before moving on. The likelihood of him getting another NFL gig is probably very, very small so he's going to have to do something at Nebraska for a while or he may well end up back in the non-power conferences somewhere.
Nebraska has every opportunity to win games in that half of the B1G, the juggernauts are on the other side. [Reply]
