McDuffie was seemingly forgotten all summer despite being our top draft pick, one we moved up to take. In other years this would be all we'd talk about, we finally took a CB in the first.
But this draft class is so intriguing and deep and great that we seemingly just kind of assumed he'd be fine. He's better than fine. He looks like a vet out there dominating. So much for his short arms! [Reply]
I'm getting pretty excited about Hardman. It appears to me that this dude is going to bring it and provide us the swag similar to what Tyreek brought to the team for years.
Perhaps it was the case that Hardman couldn't really be himself with Hill on the team. Not room for two similar personalities. I think this kid is going to impress. [Reply]

I hope you're correct but even if he does this will probably be has last season as a Chief. Someone will pay him a fat bag if he has a breakout season. I'd hate for it to be the Chiefs after watching him flounder for 3 years. [Reply]
Defenses caught up to our offense last year and they took away our deep passing game. If affected Hill and Hardman. That said I don't understand the Hardman hate.
"Even after the snap count droppage, Hardman has either surpassed or remains on-pace to create career-highs in targets (85), receptions (61), yards (617), first-down catches (31), catch percentage (71.7), and yards after catch (470). He's also sliced his drop percentage from 12.9 percent in 2020 to 3.3 percent in 2021.Dec 9, 2021"
That's nothing but improvement in a year where Mahomes was forcing the ball to Hill over and over. There will be plenty of competition for the ball this year with more weapons for Mahomes to choose from, but I anticipate Hardman will have his best season ever. His speed should open it up for other players as well. [Reply]

Numbers don't tell the story with Hardman. The majority of his targets come 5 yards from the line of scrimmage or under.
Until he is a threat running a full NFL route tree he'll never be more than a gadget guy. [Reply]
