If it was a sports hernia then it’s a different story, as it’s an actual tear or damage to the muscle, but an actual hernia shouldn’t have had this long of a recovery time, speaking from experience. Leads me to believe it was a sports hernia or something similar, especially with how Reid mentioned how it hasn’t been responding as expected. With a normal hernia, either it’s repaired or it isn’t. I would say that this has cost him some money. He was playing better this year and someone would have probably paid him more than the Chiefs would have in free agency. Now I expect the Chiefs to bring him back on a cheap one year deal similar to what they did with Robinson when his rookie contract was up [Reply]
