UPDATE 3: Courtesy of King - High Ankle Sprain Confirmed
MRI today confirmed that Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain during Saturday’s win over the Jaguars, per league source. “Nothing more than that,” said one source, and Mahomes has said he plans to play in next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
The ankle (and his mobility) is not going to be fully recovered by next week if it is a high ankle sprain, but Andy has a week to start scheming plays for a more immobile Mahomes. They can still get to another SB. [Reply]

Yeah man, I hit the outside of my ankle on one of the legs of the bed while walking in the dark. Hurt like a mother fucker, but I was playing Madden later that day. [Reply]

How much better can he be in 7 days?
PRP injection maybe?
Honestly is mainly going to be ready, letting the inflammation go down, taping the shit out of it, and getting him accustomed to being more immobile. [Reply]
