#Texans General Manager Nick Caserio isn't safe, according to @JayGlazer
Either coach Lovie Smith, Nick Caserio or both of them will "be gone" after this season ends. pic.twitter.com/NpRcHzrKaY
One of the interesting parts of the "Should the Bears take a QB at 1?" debate is that if they do (as opposed to trading down), they will have a long wait until their next pick due to the wild Chase Claypool trade pic.twitter.com/SdduUaUwNj
Yeah it seems like a good chance Chicago will want to trade down and amass more picks. Fields is a fan favorite and might end up being really good. Owners tend to make decisions as much about who puts butts in the seats as much as winning.
They kinda got unlucky with Indy being still able to grab one of the top 3 QBs. That team seemed prime to make a foolish trade up. Alas, I still think that CAR or ATL could still move up. Both teams are in need of a real QB. I also kinda think that Lamar is in play for both teams too so that makes things interesting. [Reply]

To be fair, he did enjoy some success. I was also at Soldier Field the night the Bears won the NFCCG. Considering that his QB was Rex Grossman, that’s quite an accomplishment.
Of course that doesn’t mean he’s worth a crap now. I suspect he was just hired as a placeholder for what they knew was a lost season. [Reply]
I find it awesome that Lovie Smith's final fuck you to the Texans was to coach his team to a win that cost them the #1 seed. Lovie should be laughing long and hard today. [Reply]

On another front, glad Kill-bar finally got his walking papers, for my local Cards friends. That guy was just terrible.
You’d think they would look at the Jeff Saturday disaster in Indy and have second thoughts about hiring a former player whose only coaching experience is at the high school level… but it would be a typical Texans move. [Reply]
