Who votes on this & what is the criteria to win it? How come Reid's never won it while coaching us?!!

THE LEAGUE IS AGAINST US ONCE AGAIN.

Apparently you can get coach of the year if you go undefeated in the regular season.

Or if you're a coach of a (relatively) established team but have QB come out of nowhere during an uncertain period of the season and light it up (Harbaugh in 19, Garrett in 16).

Everyone else is just getting it because they had a rags to riches season. They have zero other methods of assessing coaching brilliance other than team record and figuring out how many problems you had to deal with.

Not sure how Reid doesn't win it THIS year. Trade away Reek, build a completely new WR group (sans Hardman), and build a completely new defensive backfield, mostly through the draft.

Endure ALL of that change and nab the 1 Seed again? COY

So did Daboll. Plus the NFCE was significantly better than the AFCS.

How the fuck did Andy Reid not win it in 2013. Took over 2-14 team that had the #1 overall pick and was one of the worst offenses in league history and turned them into an 11-5 team that went to the playoffs the very next year. He turned the 32nd ranked offense into the 6th ranked and 25th ranked defense into the 5th ranked. Ron Rivera won it in 2013, his 3rd year with the Panthers. They were 7-9 the year before and went 12-4 the year he won it.

That's the biggest crock of shit I've ever seen. Andy clearly was the coach of the year that year.
