See, this works both ways.

If Patrick got to play against a soft zone w 7 DB'/s all game it would have been an absolute destruction: Ron Jeremy vs a virgin type of massacre.
35-7 at half time isn't "absolute destruction" in your estimation? LOL

I seem to recall the Chiefs playing the Chargers at home, four weeks prior.....so I guess he got that chance! How'd that work out for him? LOL

Surely one wants to live in the moment, but the comforting thought of the years to come has to warm any ones fanhood.

It is a great time to be a Chiefs fan.
Yep. This weekend's game is going to be epic. The next decade and a half are going to be epic. Ain't nothing gonna bring me down.

It would be nice though if some of your distant cousins had more sense to use the toilet instead of defecating all over our message board during one of the most glorious weeks in the last 25 years of Chiefs football.

That was a cool little video, thanks for posting. I think Edelman is just trying to say that even though KC is a wagon, do not count out a grizzled winner.

I like how he portrayed KC and the Pats in his video.

Can not wait till Sunday.

You guys gave us a handful in Oct. The respect is there- no question. That is how BB runs the ship. Respect the opponent.

I think any great competitor is confident in their ability to win if they play their game. The Pats are no exception.

The Brady sucks stuff the Jules video is self-motivation stuff.

When they walk into Arrowhead, they know it'll be hell but they will believe they can win.

In fact, if I were you, I'd be more concerned with the way the Chiefs tailed off in the last month of the season and less inclined to run my mouth.
You guys got lit up by Ryan Tannehill

The Chiefs led 24-7 over the Colts at the half and won 31-13.

The Patriots ended up winning by a smaller margin against the Chargers... 41-28.

Since you are seemingly obsessed with the optics of who looks more impressive holding onto leads, the Chiefs led by 17 at the half and won by 18, the Patriots led by 28 at the half and won by 13.

The same applies to the Chiefs, despite what some of your comPatriots would have us believe. :-)

Creating the illusion of truth. Say a lie enough and you actually start to believe it. Like how they didn't cheat to win multiple Super Bowls.

Yes, and what a way to start the ball rolling too. :-)

This regular season, MVP, beating the QB many thought was supposed to take over the mantle from the old guard by beating Luck.

Now playing the old guard QB and coach and then the opportunity to play either another old guard in Brees or another new kid on the block in Goff.

Then start up again next year and so on and so on.

To be honest Clyde, not sure if we will be able to climb the mountain to be on top in Arrowhead come late Sunday night.

But at the same time, I have a quiet confidence of seeing a healthy grizzled and proud veteran team going into the Lion's den to prove a point. And this thought it going to carry me a long way.

And even if we do not win, and am bummed we are not in Foxboro, I am enjoying the ride of my team going into historic Arrowhead with an opportunity to win the AFCCG.

NOTE: Hey a 100 page thread. :-).

Make no mistake about it, regardless what gets said here over the next few days, most of us absolutely RESPECT the Patriots, even if we don't particularly like them.

Most of us WANTED this matchup. The Chargers? Meh. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. The Patriots ARE the best. They've proven it over and over. When :-) the Chiefs beat them, it will be earned.

They should just replay the footage of Hightower cheapshotting Morse over and over again.

See earlier comments re: PPG and all that crap. Then, ask yourself, honestly, which of last week's losers was more abused by their opponent, final score be damned, as it means nothing in a debate like this! Colts or Chargers. If the answer to that question isn't obvious to you, I suggest a subscription to NFL Game Rewind so you can see what I'm driving at here.

Patriots CRUSHED the team that beat you, at home, a few weeks earlier....Totally embarrassed them, your Division rival who threatened to deprive you of the title all season long! But that doesn't mean anything to you now.....because you're at home again? Wow.....no wonder it's so difficult to find common ground.
