Nzoner's Game Room>Mahomes is 15 TDs away from passing Aikman
petegz28 07:47 AM 07-02-2022

Crazy Stat: Patrick Mahomes could throw 15 touchdowns the rest of his career and still finish with more career touchdown passes than Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman.

Note: Mahomes has played in 102 less games. pic.twitter.com/YzE4B34Xh2

that wasn't the discussion we were having

troy took guys like harper and novacek and complete turds like kevin williams and billy davis and still got 600-700 yards out of them

Right, because of the threat of Irvin and Smith, plus the GOAT offensive line giving him all day to do whatever he wanted. Then there's the fact that their ferocious D, which was possibly even more impressive than their offense, made his job much easier.

Face it, he's the 1990s Joe Flacco at best.

I didn't look up Pennington, but here's Smith throwing one 47 yards in the air.

^ Clay won’t address the statistical facts. He just yells loudly about inane shit that means nothing.

HE WENT #1 OVERALL IN THE DRAFT!!!

So did Jamarcus Russell.

I could throw 50 yards when I was in high school. I literally weighed 130 pounds and didn't even play QB or baseball.

There has never been a healthy NFL QB who could not make a 50 yard throw from a clean pocket to a wide open receiver.

So what you are saying is that when Troy was not surrounded by a HOF WR, another really good one, a great TE, an all-time great RB, and one of the greatest o-lines ever assembled he wasn’t that good. Say it ain’t so.

Flacco doesn’t have Aikman’s team either.

Not only was he not that good, I would’ve finished some of his games with a better QB rating by taking a knee on every snap and punting.
