Right, because of the threat of Irvin and Smith, plus the GOAT offensive line giving him all day to do whatever he wanted. Then there's the fact that their ferocious D, which was possibly even more impressive than their offense, made his job much easier.

So what you are saying is that when Troy was not surrounded by a HOF WR, another really good one, a great TE, an all-time great RB, and one of the greatest o-lines ever assembled he wasn’t that good. Say it ain’t so. [Reply]
