That picture is a lot better than the few I seen the other day. A lot better. The ones I seen she looked like an old woman and they said she was in GOT and I didn't even realize it was Danny at first... I was trying to figure out who her character was lol. [Reply]

For some reason I only find them tolerable in medieval/fantasy settings. I can watch Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings all day but movies like Kingsman and Snatch just piss me off.

My buddy and I talked about it when the season started. I thought she was going to grow up ugly in season 1. I was wrong.

No surprise, it is a letter to Littlefinger saying he had promised to protect her, and now is his chance, so send the army of the vale to winterfell to help them, and she would see that he is rewarded.
I think the only reason for her not to tell Jon was that he'd be pissed she turned away a huge army for personal reasons, and she can't tell him now when she is trying to rectify that mistake. From a show/drama standpoint, it sets things up for Jon and the wildlings to start the battle, then have Littlefinger swoop in and save the day with the Vale army. That seems to be GRRM's goto move on large battles. Tywin and the Tyrells swooped in and save King's Landing from Stannis, and then Stannis swooped in and saved the night's watch from the wildling army.
I wonder if it will also serve as conflict between Jon and Sansa sufficient for Jon to want to go back to the wall and leave Sansa (and hopefully Rickon) with Winterfell?

The one argument I can think of to make is that a message to Littlefinger will never make it because he is ALREADY on the way after convincing Lord Robyn to send the Vale's armies to help Sansa. Littlefinger told Sansa that he and Vale soldiers were at Moat Caitlin which is not far from winterfell, especially given how the show treats distances. But Sansa would have to be sending a raven to Moat Caitlin and be hoping he is still there. Which of course he will be and he will come to help defeat Ramsay. Well...I hope anyway.
With regards to Sansa's letter here are my thoughts. Not really a spoiler but does have some book elements that might or might not been shown in the TV show.

The obvious answer would think she is sending the letter to Little Finger for help. However, a part of me wants to believe it has something to do with legitimizing Jon. I know in the books Robb sent a letter doing this very thing before he died. Which has been kind of glossed over. I don't believe the TV show even showed this act. Somehow Jon is going to have to receive the Stark name if he is going to bring the North together.
