When I lived in Herndon Virginia, there was one section of town that had like 9 Salvadorian restaurants that served pupusas with curtido.

Some good-looking food on their menu. Gong to have to find a Salvadorian restaurant and try it out.

Onion soup burgers on the grill with pepperjack cheese
Sesame topped, buttered and toasted brioche buns
Homemade chili sauce
Bacon ranch pasta salad

Not gourmet by any means, but super tasty and perfect for a spring day like this

Do you use any sauce or condiments with the tri tip like horseradish?

Was it marinaded first or just seasoned?

My brother grills an awesome tri tip and yours looks great.

I did a 4 hour dry brine with some course salt

Then rubbed with a KC beef rub

It’s great with chimichurri but went with simple backyard style

Colby jack and provolone on rye to end the day.

Full day of cooking for me. Made some very legit mac and cheese for Easter dinner tomorrow. Made pasta salad. Made some homemade mayo. Threw on a brisket flat for sandwich meat this upcoming week and had brats for dinner with the pasta salad. Shit made my son some muffins too. Regular Betty Crocker type shit.

I picked up a family pack of 10 thin boneless pork chops reduced from $12 to $5 at Fry's earlier today. Sadly they were bland as hell. Fried them and usually they are very good. Juicy but flavorless. First time in a very long time.

Sides of Steamfresh corn, asparagus, carrots and fettuccine alfredo from Marie Callender. Also Magistrate cheap Sauvignon Blanc white wine.

Fried Catfish Filets and Mac and Cheese. Louisiana hot sauce. Yum.
