NewChief 06:18 AM 04-24-2010
Thought the beer snobs here might like this article (and probably critique the hell out of it).

(CBS) You've heard of "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall"?

How about 50 to try before you die?!
Spoiler!

I gotta go. Shift change. Back later with the pics. I'll find the homebrew thread and post the Canadian ale recipe.

I didn't get ANY and my normal watering hole had 2 kegs of it. It didn't even last 2 days.

Just read that Allagash is pulling out of Texas. So if you like their beers then you should stock up now. http://beernews.org/2011/04/allagash...as-washington/

Bwana---Do they allow "Socialists" to drink that stuff?

If not, do they send Sarah Palin to spank me instead? Just wonderin...

Beer, or Palin (mouth duct-taped)? Tough call.... :-)

Anyone tried St. Bernardus Abt 12? It's a local watering hole's "house fav tap."

Good stuff. :-)

I had Boulevard's Single Wide IPA last week, and after drinking so many stouts and what not, it was just grapefruit juice to me... not that I hate grapefruit juice.

I really like Sam Adams Latitude IPA.

Dude - I had ODells Myrcenary Thursday. It's a double IPA with a grapefruit finish. It was strangely delightful. I will drink again.

That's what the C-hops (Cascade, Centennial, Columbus) are known for: Grapefuit. Delicious.
