This is kind of what I'm getting at.

The Baratheons weren't kings before Robert's Rebellion, but he takes the throne and suddenly everyone related to him now has king's blood?

The wildlings are free people who really just appointed a war leader in Mance and somehow now everyone he's related to now has king's blood.

It seems all you have to do is be related to someone who was once king or claim that you're a king now and you suddenly have king's blood.

House Baratheon's founder Orys was Aegon the Conqueror's half brother, so they've always had a drop of dragon/kings blood.

If divine right is real in this universe then anyone who their God wills to be King (or in the rightful line of succession) is imbued with holy power. A force sensitive Jedi magic user could be sensitive to that if all magic is holy.

No.

The King loyalist is attempting to get away, should we stop him?

Just stand still, fool, we're ceremonial.

Ah! Good thing she's good with the knife.

IIRC, the Karstarks are distantly related to the Starks who were once kings in the north, so do the Karstarks have king's blood as well?

That's a pretty blah concept to me.

Yes, they are a cousin house. Though not as much as a direct descendant like Jon Snow.

I'm saying the idea of it is bogus because so many people have it and often by dubious means.
It appears you're the stupid one. Too complex for your little mind. Son/daughter of the king has kings blood. Not that hard.

Quit over thinking it. King Roberts son has kings blood. She told John she senses power in him. Might have been talking about how he has both Targaryen and Stark blood, or just the fact he's Azor Ahai reincarnated.

Also note that the Targ's and Starks really never intermarried. The Targ's usually married Martell's as Dorne was never really conquered but brought into the 7 kingdoms through marriage.

While I agree with you he raises an interesting point. If somehow Ned had ascended to Roberts throne do his kids now have king's blood.
It's fantasy, not a documentary so of course there are logical fallacies but it's fun to think upon.

And that's where he might be confused. It's fantasy.

I'm not confused. We just don't have all the answers.

Hey you two knock it off. This ain't DC. No name calling, personal insults in this thread. We are just discussing a TV fantasy show. Chill.

If you have to stuff it into a box, which wold be odd - GOT isn't a particularly clean and orderly show, think about it this way:

Red God is not oblivious to the goings on of mankind. Similar to when the bible says to follow the laws of man. Mankind says they're kings they're kings.

Moreover, Leutenant Great Tits is trying to conjur up a prophecy about the goings on of mankind, more specifically THOSE KINGS, it makes sense to get the blood similar to those kings to work with.

Now put it outside your OCD box in your brain and enjoy the show. Hopefully filled with much death and violence with tits sprinkled in.
