The problem we have is there is still a lot of cash floating around.

People bottom fishing, so much traveling, sporting events, restaurants and so much more.

Retail investors are not tossing in the towel yet.

It's a slow bleed out.

Goddamn it. I bought some GE because I though the chart looked pretty good. And it did outperform the s&p for a couple weeks. Now it’s gapped down 2 days in a row. :-)

The butthole has been puckered since late last year. I haven't done much in the markets other than watch my money dwindle. The dollar has been flying up. DXY basket has the dollar up 16+% in the last year against developed peer currencies like EU and the Yen. That seems like a really big move to a FX outsider

Tired of the red rape every day. Put sell orders on my top 9 most profitable holdings.

Hopefully, I can buy them all back at a much lower price next week.

How do you find your criteria for a target buy price? Genuinely interested in your technique.

Not sure about his technique, but a confirmed reversal is a starting point.

Buy at 52-week lows, hold for dividends, then sell when it approaches a 52-week high.

my take - the quantitative tightening we are witnessing, while much needed, is also unsustainable. powell will get his ear pulled whenever dc gets too uncomfortable with the rising rates on their debt. should see another brief rally when the fed gets the orders to stop raising rates... but after all this happens it will ultimately trigger another even larger crash.

if you're a game of thrones fan just replace winter with recession and you'll get the idea. just have to prepare for it.
