I don't think you are wrong with most of this.
Watkins is a more talented player than Hogan but we've known Sittin' Sammy for years up here from his time in BUF. He hasn't been a difference -maker vs us.
Hogan is an average receiver but has had some big playoff games for us.
If Sammy had a big game on Sunday i'd be shocked. I don't think he has it in his makeup.

Maybe you missed how NE ran their offense recently, or even last Sunday's dismantling of SD, even when SD tried to play man coverage.
The only teams you played with winning records on the road in the last two months of the season were the Titans and the Steelers. You scored 10pts on each of them. The Steelers game was almost exactly a month ago. Can you explain why you only decided to start really instituting this amazing offense of yours after that game? NE has changed how they run their offense since then. I don't know why this is so confusing.
They're not throwing it 50+ times anymore. They're going to hammer it at Dee Ford all night with Mason and Cannon as two of the best run blockers in the league.
Brady targeted Gordon and Edelman 24/27 times in that game. Brady was horrible. That was a long time ago considering how the offense looks now. The more and more you hang onto what happened 2 or 3 months ago as a barometer for "on the road", the more beer you're going to be crying into on Sunday night.
