In order to prevent us wasting precious years of Patrick Mahomes' career, Veach needs to work some magic this offseason. What's your advice for him? [Reply]
Just for cliff notes Nate had some other good shit:
-Veach likes Sammy. Obviously Andy and Patrick do too. But it made it seem like they want insurance and a path forward after next year. Probably bc covid will probably erase OTA’s again and a rookie WR won’t know the system entirely just like Willie Gay this season.
-Nate made it seem like Reiter will stay on a cheap-ish deal bc it’s the best play for both sides. Who knows
-Osemele wants to be back and Nate thinks he will be and would probably start again
-Dirty Dan sounds like he’ll definitely be back and won’t break the bank by any means
Um Reiters market value is 10.7 mil a year.... [Reply]
I’ve been told these are likely to be JJ Watt’s most important considerations in choosing his next team, remembering his priority is winning Super Bowl: 1. Quarterback. 2. Supporting personnel. 3. Money

They're going to fix it. You can stop the hysterics any time. [Reply]

It will be good to have him as an option if he is fit and will give the draft/free agent we sign time to settle in.
NFL sent a memo that the floor for the cap is $180 million. A shit load of cuts, trades and restructured deals are going to happen in the next month.
This FA could also be a massive benefit for us. Analysts think a lot of FA’s are gonna have to have cheap 1 year deals this year with the cap issue and then hope to get paid next year when things get back on track.
What better place for players to come on a 1 year deal to rebuild their brand than here? Especially WR’s [Reply]

It’s going to be interesting to see what happens. Players want more than one year because of injuries that happen. I wonder if they’ll take multi year deals for less money just so they have some sort of security. [Reply]
