NFL is the 3rd biggest dupe job in modern American history...right behind the federal reserve and military industrial complex.
Football is entertaining...but like the WWF, you have to suspend disbelief in order to be fully engaged. People love fantasy and escapism...look at the popularity of Comic-con and GOT.
Millennials are the most untrusting/skeptical generation in American history...NFL will crash and burn at some point in our lifetime. People will stop caring and the dinosaur owners will be too slow to legitimize it. They had a good run...back when people only got information from the newspaper. People were totally kept in dark due to lack of information channels. They had no idea it was created by the mafia so you could gamble on Sundays. It's hard for the older generations to accept...they were raised thinking it was a real sport and formed an emotional bond in their formative years. The coming internet generations wont be as gullible...
