Yes, I bet he does think NE D > Chiefs. Who could argue?
The Chiefs have made changes that have clearly improved the defense, making this immaterial, but...
All that really matters for this game is that the Patriots allowed 400 yards and 24 ppg on the road, and all but one of these opponents is in the bottom third offensively.
31st ranked Miami: 34 points (they averaged 19.9 ppg). #27 Jacksonville scored 31 (they average 15). #25 Tennessee scored 34 (they average 19), #21 Chicago scored 31.
Congrats, you held division rivals #29 NYJ and #30 Buffalo in check.
Now, you did manage to hold Pittsburgh (the one good offense you faced on the road) below their average, largely due to turnovers. They still amassed almost 400 yards.
You played an easy road schedule and had terrible results. Now you're facing the #1 offense, which is finally healthy and rested. And a defense that has allowed 17 ppg at home and 9 total points in its last two games. [Reply]

From a NEP PoV I don't think so. Both teams will prepare for it and play in it.
Mahomes has done just fine in cold weather and of course so has Tom. [Reply]

Anyway, he repeated the Patrick Chung thing so many times it kind of became a meme. Kind of like the time Rich Scanlon ran down the Arrowhead sideline balancing a football on his ding dong.

It isn't going to be that cold. If he can't bring up a weather forecast before he bloviates, which takes about 30 seconds, I can't be bothered to listen.
Projected temperature for #Patriots #Chiefs "Arctic Blast" game already on the rise, climbing back toward 20 degrees.
The game total is also back on the rise; dipped to 54/54.5 yesterday. 56.5s & 57s across the board today:
